I live on central Vancouver Island. I like to spend my days surfing on the west coast and being on the water as much as possible. In the winters I enjoy alpine and nordic skiing, as well as any opportunity to get out and play some hockey. I started writing code by by adding !important classes to custom classes in CSS snippets on Wordpress sites. This is when I realized I needed to learn programming officially. I started with Java in University and still enjoy opening up Eclipse on my 2003 Dell Inspiron and writing programs that print various characters into a pyramid.
